m'ap priye pou samu

darling samendia, please know i am praying for you. i know this is a really hard time for you. i know your two best friends are going home before you. i know you will miss mia and belle so much! i know your sweet, sensitive little heart must be breaking. i know how you retreat into yourself.

oh, samu, i wish i could be there to comfort you and remind you that you will be going home too!! yesterday you told me that your mom is coming to see you in october; hold on to that, honey! your family loves you and longs for the day you will be home with them. you and deckerson. i know your papa is working so hard to make that a reality for you and all the children at angel house.
don't forget, nata and misey have always been good friends. i know they aren't your closest friends, but they are great girls. and nay-nay and tetak will always be there for you too!
also, samu, thank the great Lord that when you do go home, you'll be so close to mia and belle!! you'll get to grow up with them! what a praise!! i know you're hurting, baby girl, but the Lord is with you and we all promise to be praying for you!!

She is so sad. I held her forever yesterday. I let her cry on my shoulder and I just held her. This is so hard on her. Praying....

I wondered about this. I can't imagine how hard this must be for her. I will be praying that her process is super speedy, and in the mean time, that she is comforted by all that surrounds her.

Poor sweet Samendia! I know her heart must be hurting. This whole process must be so hard for all of the children to comprehend. I'm a grown adult and I can't even make sense of it all. We are praying for Samendia and for all of the kids that will be feeling the absence of the kids that are going home.

We are praying here too!

I can't begin to imagine how she feels. These kids have so much loss already in their lives. This must feel like another to her.

Someday soon she will know the reality of having her dear friends close again!

Until then, we are praying for you sweet girl!

Poor Samu! How great to have that hope of being reunited, though! It parallels losing a Christian brother or sister and having that heavenly hope. Still, the initial separation is most heartbreaking. I'll be praying for her. Thank you for being so thoughtful to post this, Angela!

Oh samendia! i can't wait until you are here in Evansville too! i pray that you would be comforted and that you would hold on to the hope of when you too will be coming home.

how amazing is our God though? that He would call 3 different families at different times to adopt these 3 friends so that they will grow up together!!
